Call for Nominations
The Family Law Section is calling for nominations for three (3) General Council Member seats. Terms will begin on January 1, 2024. Two (2) General Council Member seats will expire on December 31, 2026, and the other will expire depending on which position on present Council moves into the Secretary position. Nominees must be a member of the SC Bar Family Law Section in good standing and whose primary practice area is family law. Please note that no law firm or public entity may have more than one member on the Council simultaneously.
The Council meets up to ten (10) times per year. Members will have the option to call in for the majority of the meetings. Responsibilities will include assisting with Section educational programs, specials projects, and contributing to its newsletter.
