Intellectual Property and Innovation Law

The Intellectual Property and Innovation committee was formed to:

• Connect committee members through networking events, conference calls, email, and other media, such as blogs.

• Provide educational content on IP and innovation to Bar members, including the possibility of presenting or participating in events at the Bar Convention and other CLE. Assist or collaborate with other Bar committees and sections.

• Collaborate with other bars and business organizations to provide content and speakers on IP and Innovation.

• Connect with individuals and businesses in South Carolina to raise awareness of the issues surrounding IP and Innovation. One goal is to reduce the loss of rights and prevent avoidable disputes related to IP due to lack of knowledge or proper decision making.
