Instructions for checking out an item:

  • If you are interested in checking out a book in person or by mail, please email eworley@scbar.org. You must be a member of the SC Bar in good standing to check out resources from the Lending Library.
  • Lending Library Policy:
    So that all Bar members can be served adequately, please limit requests to two books per three-week period. The text(s) must be returned within three weeks (from pick up or mailing). In the event you are not finished with the books or resources, one two-week extension of time to borrow the book(s) or resources may be requested by email to eworley@scbar.org. Otherwise, you will be invoiced for the cost of the book(s) or resources to the Bar plus $20 for handling. Members may also be billed the replacement cost for book(s) or resources returned in poor condition.
