The Technology, Innovation and Intellectual Property Committee empowers Bar members with knowledge and resources to navigate evolving legal technologies and IP challenges. We promote best practices in cybersecurity, innovation, and IP protection through education, collaboration, and outreach. Our goal is to foster a forward-thinking legal community that is equipped to serve clients effectively in a digital and innovation-driven world.

Technology, Innovation and Intellectual Property Lawyer of the Year Award
The practice of law is evolving rapidly through advancements in technology, innovation, and intellectual property. Attorneys throughout South Carolina are leading efforts to improve legal services, educate fellow practitioners, strengthen intellectual property protections, and promote the responsible and ethical use of emerging technologies within the legal profession.
The TIIPS Committee seeks to recognize individuals whose contributions have made a meaningful impact in one or more of these areas. If you know an attorney, judge, educator, or legal professional who has demonstrated leadership, innovation, or excellence in technology, innovation, or intellectual property, we encourage you to submit a nomination.
