Contributions to the SC Bar Foundation
The SC Bar Foundation receives an annual donation from the Government Law Section. These monies go to the Children's Fund, which funds legal initiatives that enhance the well-being of children, and the Disabled Lawyers Fund, which helps colleagues who are permanently incapacitated and are experiencing financial difficulties due to illness or accidents. Additionally, the fund collaborates with the South Carolina Bar's Lawyers Helping Lawyers Program to assist attorneys who enter rehabilitation with treatment costs or costs associated with continuing their legal career.
