The 2024–25 Mock Trial state champions — Forest Creek Middle School and Strom Thurmond High School — and the We The People state champions — Palmetto Academy of Learning and Success and River Bluff High School — were recently recognized by the South Carolina Senate for their outstanding achievements.
In addition, River Bluff High School received a separate recognition from the South Carolina House of Representatives for its success in the We The People competition.
Attorney coaches for the Strom Thurmond High School Mock Trial team include Blair Massey and Sen. Shane Massey. Forest Creek Middle School was led by attorney coach Gary Lemel.

The We the People National Finals will take place April 9–11, 2025, in Washington, D.C. The National High School Mock Trial Championship will be held May 7–10, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona.
