The Trial & Appellate Advocacy Council is proud to announce that William W. Applegate, IV is the recipient of the 2026 Trial & Appellate Advocacy Award.
The annual award recognizes members who have:
- demonstrated substantial dedication to the furtherance of the art and techniques of trial and appellate advocacy in the State of South Carolina
- displayed outstanding and exemplary skill and conduct in his/her practice of trial and/or appellate advocacy
- and/or devoted substantial time and effort to the education and training of lawyers in the areas of trial and appellate advocacy.
