by Zack Ohanesian, SC Bar Pro Bono Program Manager
Last Friday, the SC Bar Pro Bono Program wrapped up Pro Bono Week with a Free Legal Answers Blitz in partnership with the Joseph F. Rice School of Law and a dedicated group of volunteer attorneys. Together, we answered 65 questions submitted by South Carolinians across 21 counties, covering several different areas of law, from family and housing to consumer and employment issues.
The Blitz brought together attorneys and law students, creating a fun environment for collaboration. Law students had the opportunity to shadow experienced attorneys, ask questions, and observe real-time legal analysis, while attorneys benefited from fresh perspectives and the chance to model pro bono service for the next generation of legal professionals.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who came out, logged on, and leaned in to make this event a success. Your time and expertise made a real difference for people who would otherwise go without legal guidance. Special thanks to the Joseph F. Rice School of Law for hosting and supporting this initiative.
If you're an attorney and haven’t yet signed up for Free Legal Answers, now’s the perfect time: sign up here. Already registered? Log in and answer a question today!
