The Corporate, Banking & Securities Law Section recognized Mark S. Sharpe as the 2024 recipient of the Distinguished Lawyer Award for his longstanding contributions to banking, bankruptcy, commercial real estate, and creditors’ rights law in South Carolina.

In addition to his practice, he has provided significant leadership to the profession, including serving as Chair of the Corporate, Banking & Securities Law Section and leading efforts on the Task Force on Unauthorized Practice of Law in Commercial Transactions.
