Solo & Small Firm Section Hosts Record-Breaking AI Seminar
The South Carolina Bar’s Solo & Small Firm Section recently hosted one of its most successful seminars in over 20 years—marking the largest attendance in the section’s history. Titled “AI on Our Side: The Transformative Power of AI for Solo & Small Firms,” this year’s annual CLE program delivered a practical, forward-looking exploration of how artificial intelligence is reshaping the legal profession.
Designed for solo practitioners and small firm attorneys, the program focused on real-world application—covering how AI works, how to select the right tools, and how to ethically and effectively integrate AI into legal practice. Attendees also gained insight into emerging trends in legal education, the future of the profession, and the critical role of emotional intelligence as a skill AI cannot replicate.
With 6.25 MCLE credits (including 1.0 SA/MH) and participation across multiple in-person locations statewide, the seminar brought together attorneys eager to stay ahead of the curve and enhance client service in an evolving legal landscape.
This milestone event underscores the Section’s continued commitment to delivering relevant, high-impact programming that equips South Carolina attorneys with the tools they need to succeed.
