Law Talks are free legal education events open to the public.
The South Carolina Bar has partnered with public libraries across South Carolina to offer the Law Talk program. Each Law Talk is taught by a SC licensed attorney or judge and typically includes a 30-45 minute presentation followed by a brief question and answer session.
What you will learn
Law Talk sessions are designed to provide general legal information on the topic presented. They are not designed to provide guidance on your specific situation. If you need legal advice on a specific situation, you will need to consult with an attorney outside of the event setting.
