Job Summary

A CA Attorney III is an experienced staff attorney responsible for providing comprehensive legal services to Richland County, its elected and appointed officials, department heads and personnel.

Depending on experience, ability and leadership, an Attorney III should expect to have some responsibility for planning, directing, implementing and supervising the legal affairs of the County. Will be expected to closely interact with the County’s top officials. This requires not only subject matter expertise but the ability to recognize and assess the importance of the distinction between legal and policy issues.

Regularly participate in administrative and judicial proceedings on behalf of the County, and may be assigned special projects and duties as assigned.
