Job Summary

Overview

Parham Law Firm is seeking a seasoned Associate Attorney to join our litigation team in Georgetown, South Carolina. This is not a training-wheels role — we’re looking for an experienced litigator with a solid track record handling personal injury cases, particularly those involving insurance-heavy disputes. Experience with medical malpractice and workers’ compensation is a plus. Criminal law experience is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a high-volume plaintiff’s docket from intake to resolution, including trials

• Communicate regularly and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers and court personnel

• Draft and argue motions, attend hearings, take depositions and prepare for trial

• Travel across South Carolina for court appearances, depositions and client meetings

• Work independently while remaining collaborative and communicative with the team

• Maintain strong case organization and handle deadlines without hand-holding

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina Bar

• Minimum 5+ years of litigation experience, ideally with plaintiff’s personal injury, malpractice and/or workers’ comp

• A litigator who’s confident in court, clear in communication and calm under pressure

• Someone who can balance a heavy caseload without losing their sense of humor

• Friendly, approachable and fun to work with – our firm culture is strong, and we like it that way

• Strong writing skills, attention to detail and excellent client rapport

• Comfortable with legal tech and organized with file management

Why Parham Law Firm?
