Role Description

We are seeking a full-time on-site Associate Attorney with 1–2 years of litigation experience to join our team. The attorney will be responsible for handling various employment law matters from intake to resolution.

Essential functions

• Extensive legal writing including drafting and filing pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs

• Attending hearings, arguing motions, and taking depositions

• Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, employers, and other parties involved in litigation

• Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, and hearings

• Analyze case facts, legal issues, and client objectives to develop and implement effective case strategies

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina and admitted to state and federal courts.

• Active member of the South Carolina Bar in good standing

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to independently manage a caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of labor and employment law is strongly preferred.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
