Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional associate attorney to join the trust, estate, corporate, and tax team. Appropriate education and background in business, tax, accounting, finance, banking, or similar training and experience is necessary, in addition to membership in the South Carolina Bar. Our team guides clients through complex trust and estate planning and administration, business and tax planning, both for for-profit and non-profit entities, and related transactional and contractual matters. Our focus is to deliver strategic legal solutions tailored to each client's unique needs. Familiarity with federal and state tax laws and regulations is required, enabling us to provide comprehensive tax planning and compliance services that minimize liabilities. Our team includes two South Carolina Certified Specialists in Estate Planning and Probate Law who can provide the right candidate with plenty of opportunities for quality client engagements and as much guidance or autonomy as is appropriate for the given matter. Our team also frequently handles trust, estate, and business litigation if the associate is also interested in litigation, although it is not required.

We are seeking a self-starter with a commitment to providing practical, results-oriented, legal counsel while maintaining a client-focused approach. Must have the ability to navigate complex legal challenges with professionalism and personal skill, always prioritizing the best interest of the clients.

Employment package includes competitive compensation in the market, with full health and retirement benefits.
