What You’ll Do
Your primary responsibility will be managing residential real estate transactions from contract through closing.
Responsibilities include:
• Conduct residential real estate closings
• Review title examinations and resolve title issues
• Prepare and review closing documents
• Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and title professionals
• Ensure transactions comply with South Carolina real estate laws and lender requirements
• Deliver an exceptional client experience throughout every transaction
• Work closely with our experienced support staff to maintain efficient workflows
During your first year, your focus will be on residential closings. You will not be expected to generate business, handle litigation, or manage probate matters while you become fully integrated into the firm.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate has:
• Active South Carolina Bar license
• 3–5 years of experience practicing real estate law
• Strong experience conducting residential real estate closings
• Experience reviewing title work and resolving title issues
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
• A collaborative, team-first mindset
• Confidence working independently while knowing when to ask questions
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, you will:
• Learn the firm’s systems and processes
• Successfully manage residential closings with mentorship from the managing attorney
• Develop confidence handling transactions independently
• Build trusted relationships with our clients and referral partners
• Become the primary attorney handling the firm’s residential closing practice
