Estate Planning, Probate & Real Estate Attorney - Dunes Law Firm, PA

Job Summary

Transactional law firm with offices in Myrtle Beach and Conway is hiring an attorney to handle mainly estate planning and probate matters but will occasionally need to handle real estate closings. We are looking for someone who has a good personality, is organized, likes people and has sound financial skills. The position is for the Myrtle Beach office, but the new hire likely would work out of the Conway office occasionally. We have a well-established estate planning, probate practice and real estate practice that is sure to keep the new hire busy.

Responsibilities

• Estate Planning: Attend initial client meetings, assess client needs, draft and review estate planning documents, meet with clients to finalize and execute documents.

• Probate: Assist clients with administration of probate estates and trusts.

• Real Estate: Review title work, review settlement statements and other documents for closing, supervise closings, draft seller financing documents.

Hiring criteria

• 1-5 years experience in private practice preferred, transactional experience not required, but significantly preferred.

• Member in good standing of S.C. Bar

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to understand and assemble settlement statements

• Prior work experience in customer service business such as retail or restaurants is a plus

Compensation range is negotiable based on candidate experience. Most work is fixed fee, so there are no hourly billing requirements.
