Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional associate attorney to join the trust and estate litigation, administration, and planning team. Appropriate education and at least 2 years’ experience in these practice areas is necessary, in addition to membership in the South Carolina Bar. Our busy team of three trust and estate lawyers includes two South Carolina Certified Specialists in Estate Planning and Probate Law who can provide the right candidate with plenty of opportunities for quality client engagements and as much guidance or autonomy as is appropriate for the given matter. Although trust and estate litigation and administration is the primary current need of the team, the candidate may focus on other ancillary practice areas for which candidate is qualified and interested, including but not limited to estate, business, and tax planning.

We are seeking a self-starter with a commitment to providing practical, results-oriented, legal counsel while maintaining a client-focused approach. Must have the ability to navigate complex legal challenges with professionalism and personal skill, always prioritizing the best interest of the clients.

Employment package includes competitive compensation in the market, with full health and retirement benefits.

Please contact Kenneth B. Wingate (Ken) at kbw@swblaw.com or Matthew J. Myers (Matt) at mjm@swblaw.com to submit a resume and letter of intent.
