Job Summary

Robinson Gray is seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Associate. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and work from our Columbia, SC office. Applicants must be in good standing with the South Carolina Bar Association.

We’re looking for an Associate who:

-Can handle all aspects of defending workers' compensation claims for clients including insurance companies, risk managers, employer representatives, third-party administrators and self-insured employers.

-Is proficient in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, trials, appeals, mediations, subrogation, and settlement.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

-Knowledge of SC workers' comp law

-Ability to spot legal issues in other areas

-Ability to manage caseload effectively

-Effective time management

-Demonstrate good judgment

-Excellent interpersonal skills

-Technologically adept

-Excellent organizational skills
