Job Description:

Foster Law Firm, located in Greenville, South Carolina, is seeking a motivated and dedicated Associate to join our team. Our firm specializes in ERISA and insurance law issues on the plaintiff’s side, primarily focusing on representing client claims for short-term and long-term disability, health insurance, life insurance, and retirement benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in insurance litigation and a desire to gain hands-on experience in a client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.

• Review and analyze client files, insurance policies, and medical records.

• Assist in preparing for appeals, hearings, and oral arguments.

• Attend client meetings, court hearings, and other firm-related events as needed.

Hiring Criteria:

• Graduate of an accredited law school.

• Licensed attorney or preparing for the upcoming bar exam.

• Strong academic performance with a demonstrated interest in ERISA, insurance law, and disability benefits.

• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
