The Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate Attorney who wants hands-on experience, meaningful ownership, and a clear path to grow as a litigator.

You will manage personal injury cases from pre-litigation through litigation resolution, including trial preparation when necessary. You will be supported by a dedicated team—case managers and paralegal support—allowing you to focus on legal work, client communication, and case strategy, not administrative tasks. We use integrated AI tools to assist in document generation, discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.

This role is ideal for an attorney with 2–5 years of experience and at least 2 years of litigation exposure who values preparation, takes pride in building strong cases, and wants to be part of a team that invests in its people.

What You’ll Do

Manage personal injury matters from pre-litigation through litigation resolution

Communicate with clients and guide them through the legal process with professionalism and empathy

Evaluate liability and damages; review records, evidence, and treatment progression

Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and motions (with support as needed)

Participate in and handle depositions (conducting and defending) as experience allows

Prepare for and assist in mediations, hearings, and trial preparation with attorney leadership

Who We’re Looking For

• Active South Carolina law license (North Carolina a plus)

• 2–5 years of overall legal experience

• At least 2 years of litigation experience (civil litigation considered)

• Personal injury experience preferred

• Insurance defense experience a plus

• Strong writing, organization, and communication skills with a client-first mindset

Requirements

Education: Active South Carolina law license
