Koontz Law is a boutique litigation firm in the Park Circle neighborhood of Olde North Charleston, focused on construction disputes, business litigation, real estate litigation, and mechanic's liens. We represent subcontractors, material suppliers, homeowners, builders, contractors, and businesses across the Lowcountry and up the East Coast — real, complex cases with genuine stakes.

We're looking for a full-time associate attorney to join our team. From early on, you'll be taking depositions, attending court, and getting a comprehensive education in all aspects of construction litigation — not years spent buried in document review. You'll draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery while building the kind of hands-on courtroom experience that advances a legal career. There is real room for growth here for the right person.

We're a small, friendly team that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriously. We close every Wednesday at 4:00 for an optional happy hour, order lunch in at least once a month, and genuinely enjoy working together. Requirements: Active SC Bar license; Rule 403 trial experience preferred.

Compensation: $70,000–$100,000 based on experience, plus benefits.
