Supporting Activities

• Preparing legal deliverables, including:

a. Estate Planning Summaries

b. Operating/Shareholders Agreement Summaries

c. Business Organization deliverables

d. Business Succession deliverables

e. Miscellaneous binder deliverables

• Actively tracking Legal Engagement Life Cycle

• Assisting with Agenda Prep and Case Prep Review

• Sending information requests and data gathering emails to clients where appropriate.

• Responding to client inquiries for documentation, meeting times, meeting coordination and basic introductions

• Attending both client meetings and internal meetings

• Presenting Operating Agreement Summaries or and Estate Planning Summaries, as needed

• Responsible for taking notes, saving to RedTail, and prepping follow-up emails for review

• Capturing team tasks from meetings or emails, and adding to shared to-dos

• Responsible for initial legal research/data gathering for on-going research projects or one-off client requests

• Contract Review

• Cultivate new advocate relationships annually and track advocate contacts quarterly

• Take on at least one research challenge/education initiative per quarter

• Responsible for data input to Luminary software

• Perform additional duties and adapt to changing priorities by assisting with projects or tasks outside the primary scope of this role, as needed, to support the overall success of the team and firm

Success Criteria

• To become a trusted advisory team member and legal resource for team members and clients, and to function as an interpreter

• Abide by the golden rules

• Deliver accurate output in a timely manner

• Develop a follow up and task completion system so items do not fall through the cracks

• Respond to all emails and questions within 24 hours

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree

• Law Degree

• 2+ Years of work experience in the legal field
