Please note that for ALL February live webcasts programs they are real time, real date programs so must be taken the day and time advertised. If you transfer from a live webcast program or the live in-person program to the OnDemand version, we cannot guarantee that this program will be ready and activated before compliance deadline.
When viewing an OnDemand or Live Webcast program, if using Internet Explorer, you will need to use version 10 or later, as older versions will NOT support the streaming of your program. New and Returning Customers for On-Demand and Live Individual Webcast Programs:
Log into your SC Bar Member Account by using your SC Bar Member login credentials. This is not your AIS login credentials. To login go to www.scbar.org. At the top right will be the login button. Sign in using your Member ID/Username, then Password. This is not your AIS login credentials. Your Username/Member ID is your seven digit Bar Number. If your number is fewer than 7 digits you must enter zeros at the beginning of your Bar Number to create a 7 digit number. If you do not know, or do not remember your Password, click on “Forgot Password” and your Password will be sent to you at the email address on file in the AIS system. If you have any questions concerning login assistance, please click here. Hover over “Shop CLE,” then on the program type (i.e., “live courses, “live webcast” or “On-Demand CLE”), and proceed through the purchase options and instructions to access your desired content. Once your purchase is complete, you will be able to access/launch your content from that page (View OnDemand/Live Webcast Programs), through your Order Confirmation email or click here.
Quick Tips for Completing Your On-Demand or Live Individual Webcast and to Receive CLE Credit
In order to launch, you must log into your SC Bar Member Account (see instructions above). Once you are logged in you can access your program(s) two ways:
1. Go to your Order Confirmation in your email. Read the instructions and click on the link to Access Your Content. Remember to log in first. Your screen will flip into your Abila MyFreestone Account Profile and click on click here to proceed to your classroom, then click on the name of the program to view. Do not close down your My Account screen as you will need this when submitting your credits at the end of the program.
2. Log into your Bar Member account first, then Hover over Shop CLE, on the eighth link down called On-Demand CLE as you hover another box will appear with Access Your Program. Click on that link and your screen will flip to your Abila MyFreestone Account Profile where you can launch your program. To launch click on the name of the program to view. In order to complete the program and receive full credit, you MUST watch the entire video (listening does not qualify) and click on ALL checkpoint(s) that appear throughout the program. Once the program is finished a pop up button will appear and go through the steps for completion.
Submitting Credit Hours
To submit your credit, at the end of your program there will be a Go to Credit Submission tab where you will see simple instructions to go through that process. Please complete those steps and once completed a generated report will be sent over to the SC Supreme Court Commission on CLE from the CLE Division reporting your full attendance. You cannot receive partial credit for these programs. We report attendance every Monday from March through end of January and in the month of February we report attendance multiple times a day every day (weekends excluded.)
Alternatively Delivered Programming: What is it?
Alternatively Delivered Programming (i.e., live individual webcasts, individual On-Demand programs, and individual live and replay teleseminars) affords you the convenience to earn CLE credit from your office, your home or anywhere you have access to the internet or telephone. Alternatively Delivered Programming is defined by the South Carolina Supreme Court on CLE & Specialization as any programming that is delivered via telephone or internet to individual Bar Members (i.e., not those attending a program in a group setting in a conference room or at a remote satellite location such as Buck Mickel Center, Charleston School of Law, etc.)
What are the Rules and Limitations?

Supreme Court Commission on CLE rules allow SC Bar members to use Alternatively Delivered programming (i.e., telephone or internet based programming) to obtain up to 6.0 hours of MCLE each reporting period. These hours may come in any increment and may cover any type of credit required or allowed. Hours earned via Alternatively Delivered Programming may not be “banked” to the next reporting period.
South Carolina Commission on CLE and Specialization Rules require that each “live webcast” or “On-Demand” internet based (online) program must include a mechanism that will track attendance. SC Bar-CLE online programs include automated “checkpoint(s)” which require the viewer to click on an ON-SCREEN PROMPT (mere listening does not qualify and if you miss a prompt your participation will not be verified). Each SC Bar-CLE On-Demand or live webcast program will include “checkpoint(s)” prompts. These prompts will cover your screen and remain visible for 90 (ninety) seconds. You must click on EACH prompt in order to receive FULL credit for the program you are viewing.
On-Demand Seminars: What are they?
On-Demand seminars are your one-stop online education portal, featuring a catalog of nearly 300 web-based archived online seminars sponsored by the SC Bar's CLE Division. These pre-recorded online programs cover all major practice areas, including ethics and SA/MH. Running time for these programs can vary from less than one hour up to six hours. To participate, you will need a computer - PC or MAC, iPad or Smart Phone with internet connection.
Note: You MUST complete your program on the same device on which you started the program. If you switch devices mid-program, you will have to start the entire program over. Do NOT pause your program for more than 10 minutes. If you need to take a break stop your program and log completely out then log back in. Live Webcasts: What are they?
Live Webcasts are advertised date and real-time Internet audio and video streams of live CLE seminars sponsored by the SC Bar's CLE Division. Running time for these programs is usually six hours, but can vary. In addition, many of our live Webcasts later make their way to the On-Demand seminars catalog. To participate, you will need a computer - PC or MAC, iPad or Smart Phone with internet connection.
