Welcome to the SC Bar Pro Bono Program!
One of the hallmarks of the legal profession is its demonstrated commitment to service to those who are unable to afford representation. The obligations described in Rule 6.1 of the Rules of Professional Responsibility are taken seriously by many members of the Bar. If you are new to the world of pro bono, welcome! And if you are renewing your pro bono efforts, welcome back!
This web page is designed to make it easier for you to help those in need. You will find digital resources (these will appear at the top of this page when logged in), the parameters of the Pro Bono Program and simple forms letting you sign up to receive referrals, report those clients who walk in to your office and need your help, as well as forms to report your engagement.
Thank you in advance for your willingness to assist and please let us know how we can improve our system for you.
