ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The 28th Annual Criminal Practice in South Carolina seminar is back and better than ever.  Course Planner Amie Clifford has again assembled an outstanding faculty of judges, legislators, solicitors and prosecutors, public defenders, appellate defenders, agency attorneys and private practitioners.  This important program features presentations on significant state and federal criminal law developments, legislative initiatives and rule changes for 2019, a primer on expungements, and a “speed round” on trending issues, juvenile cases, and PCR-proofing your next case.  Finally, there will be a full hour of LEPR credit focusing on ethics issues in criminal defense.
If you are looking for a practical criminal law program with substantive materials, insights on recent cases and legislation, a “sneak peak” into what’s next for criminal practice in South Carolina, and a faculty that is second to none, then the 28th Annual Criminal Practice in South Carolina CLE program from the South Carolina Bar-CLE Division is the seminar for you!

This seminar is an (intermediate to advanced) level program.
