ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The SC Bar CLE Division is proud to present the 2019 Al Todd Estate Planning Intensive Workshop. This advanced level program is designed for experienced estate planners and tax attorneys and is named in honor of workshop founder, Al Todd.
This year’s special two-day workshop will feature Howard Zaritsky, www.howardzaritsky.com, attorney and nationally-recognized expert (on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes, fiduciary income taxes, estate planning and estate administration). Mr. Zaritsky’s presentation will focus on the past year’s estate planning perspectives of tax developments and dealing with basis in modern estate planning. We’ll open the program with a power presentation on fiduciary cases from Dana Fitzsimons with Bessemer Trust. Saturday we’ll hear a conversation between David Kunes and family law attorney Vance Stricklin on the cross between family and probate practice, followed by ethical and practical considerations for estate planners with Freddy Faircloth. Saturday morning will end with a presentation from Thomas Sinclair on retirement planning. And finally, a conference favorite – Friday and Saturday breakout sessions and discussion with colleagues on the current estate planning trends.
You will have some time Friday and Saturday afternoons to network and enjoy Kiawah Island and all it has to offer, including a relaxing spa treatment, golf, or just lounging by the pool or beach. Friday night will feature a reception for you and your family!
Don’t miss this unique opportunity for advanced-level training, active participation, and networking with your peers at one of the top five travel destinations in North America!
