“The South Carolina Tort Law Update” is a CLE institution and annual favorite for attorneys who practice personal injury, tort, and insurance law. Course Planners John Nichols and Scott Moise have recruited an outstanding faculty of experienced practitioners for a day of scholarly and practical insights covering some of the hottest trends in tort law, litigation, and personal injury trial practice. This year’s program features presentations on dental malpractice, the difficult issues presented to personal injury lawyers by medical liens, mediation tips, traps, and solutions, an update on business torts, and a fascinating discussion of attorney-conducted voir dire. In addition, Justice John Few will present an entertaining and practical analysis on the structure of evidence, and Senator Gerald Malloy will present a legislative update that will focus on tort reform legislation. Finally, you won’t want to miss Barbara Seymour’s interactive and entertaining “movie” that shows us that when it comes to lawyer professionalism, “the more things change, the more they stay the same.”

Best of all, every registrant to the program will receive a copy of the brand new 2018 Supplement to The South Carolina Law of Torts, Fourth Edition by John Nichols and Scott Moise. If you practice personal injury, tort, or insurance law in South Carolina, this is a program and book you cannot afford to miss!
