    • Training Dates

    The primary focus of We the People is to increase students' understanding of the institutions of American constitutional democracy. This curriculum fosters attitudes that are necessary for students to be responsible and engaged citizens. After studying the textbook, students prepare for the simulated congressional hearing, whcih takes place at an annual statewide competition. Not onliy will this training guide teachers from upper elementary to high school through the program, but it also qualifies teachers to receive a free classroom set of We the People textbooks.
