Section Goals
FY2023-24 

Laura J. Evans, Chair 

  1. Conduct a Section seminar and networking event at the SC Bar Convention.
  2. Monitor and identify needs for legislative activity relevant to Health Care Law.
  3. Provide networking opportunities for Section members and continue to encourage member participation.
  4. Continue to inform Section members of significant developments in health care law through the Section community platform, E-Blast, social media, and post on the Bar Website.
  5. Identify ways to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Section and its leadership.
  6. Explore partnering with other Bar entities, various other organizations (i.e., American College of Health Care Executives), and the USC School of Law Health Law Society, for special events and/or educational programs.
  7. Explore ways to become a valuable resource to the SC Bar on Health Care Law related issues. 
  8. Offer online CLEs and distant learning programs on topics that would be of interest to Section members.
