Under the general direction of a partner, this job is responsible for performing specifically-delegated substantive legal work for two attorneys. Many responsibilities are routine in nature but candidate must be able to handle non-routine situations, problems and deviations; must use independent judgment and initiative to determine approach or action to take in non-routine situations.
Responsibilities include preparing pre-hearing briefs; monitoring deadlines; monitoring and managing attorney mail; preparing file summaries/file analysis; conducting necessary discovery to prepare for litigation; conducting legal research; preparing correspondence to clients/attorneys/other facilities; scheduling of depositions, etc.
Ideal candidate will have complex litigation experience and knowledge of both federal and state rules as well as malpractice experience.

• Requires strong computer skills with 55+ WPM
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills; communicate effectively with attorneys and other professionals
