This position is located in our Greenville, South Carolina Office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Team together with Principals to represent employers in pre-litigation demands, agency charges, lawsuits and arbitrations involving a broad range of employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, ERISA litigation, and non-compete cases.

Skills and Educational Requirements:

  • JD from accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials
  • 3+ years of litigation experience, employment law background strongly preferred
  • Current South Carolina admission or ability to obtain admission
  • Understanding of court and agency procedural rules at both the federal and state level
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • First chair experience taking and defending depositions, conducting mediations, and presenting oral arguments to courts, arbitrators, and agencies (preferred but not required)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork​, along with ability to work independently on various projects
