The South Carolina Bar CLE Publications Division is hosting its 9th annual after-Thanksgiving sale from 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30 through 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11. Popular titles among SC Bar members will be available for purchase at a discount of up to 20% off.
Titles on sale include bookshelf must-haves like:
- Appellate Practice in SC
- SC Criminal Offenses and Penalties
- Labor and Employment Law
- Marital Litigation in SC
- Elements of Civil Causes of Action
- SC Deposition Handbook
- SC Litigation Handbook
- Deeds of Conveyance
- Treatise on Law of Easements
- SC Law of Torts
- Law of Workers’ Compensation
“Bar members have told me that they look forward to this sale because it is a great opportunity for them to build a practice library or add to an existing one with the most up-to-date editions,” said Alicia Hutto, SC Bar CLE Publications director. “We hope our members take advantage of the sale.”
It’s been a busy year for the Publications Division. Seven titles have been released in the last six months and while they are excluded from the post-Thanksgiving sale, they are available for purchase on the CLE website.
And the flow of new books isn’t stopping anytime soon.
“Pubs is currently working on a dozen new titles that will be released in 2021, as well as building to our offerings available in Fastcase,” said Hutto. “We are also working on probate forms that will be released via the HotDocs platform.”
