Ask-A-Lawyer: Lawyer volunteers to take public questions Thurs., Jan. 31

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Jan. 17, 2013) – The S.C. Bar Ask-A-Lawyer program, which coordinates volunteer lawyers in aregional effort to assist the public with its legal questions, will be held in Columbia on Thursday, Jan. 31.

Television phone banks, staffed by volunteer attorneys, will air on the WLTX evening news between 5 and 7:30 p.m. to encourage the public to call in with questions. Lawyers will also respond to questions via Web chat.

Attorney volunteers include George B. Cauthen, Mathias G. Chaplin, Jane H. Downey, Suzannah Hayes, Eddye L. Lane, J. Edwin McDonnell, Pamela D. Robinson, Jennifer W. Rubin, Stacy E. Thompson and Brett D. Woron.
