Construction Law Update
This seminar will feature a broad discussion of construction defect claims and will be useful to plaintiff and defendant’s counsel, the occasional practioner, as well as the seasoned construction lawyer. The first half of the seminar will feature two well-respected engineers discussing investigative techniques used in examining and evaluating construction defects. Keith McCook will provide interesting insight into dealing with claims that are brought within the procurement system. Finally, Jim Bruner will discuss ways to handle the issue of allocation of damages among insurance carriers both practically at mediation and when dealing with allocation during and after trial.
