Ask-A-Lawyer: Volunteer lawyers to address questions May 20 and 26

 COLUMBIA, SC (May 13, 2009) -- The South Carolina Bar Ask-A-Lawyer program, which coordinates volunteer lawyers in a regional effort to assist the public with its legal questions, will be held in Charleston on Wednesday, May 20 and Columbia on Tuesday, May 26.

Television phone banks, staffed by volunteer attorneys, will air on the evening news to encourage the public to call in with questions. Lawyers will also respond to questions via a Web chat. Call/log-in information is as follows:
