Docketing Questionnaire
The Criminal Law Section Council is tasked with promoting the objectives of the S.C. Bar within the fields of criminal law. Specifically, we are directed to further the study of criminal law, to cooperate in obtaining uniformity with respect to both legislation and administration in all matters concerning criminal law and to simplify and improve the application of justice.
The Council has developed a questionnaire dealing with Criminal Docketing and Procedural Orders among the 16 judicial circuits. The Council will use the results to make recommendations, if any, to the Bar’s Board of Governors for its consideration. Our membership, consisting of prosecution, defense and state agency representatives, would greatly appreciate your response to this survey, which has been developed to take up a minimum of your time.
Please take a moment to complete and return the questionnaire by November 13, 2006, to the S.C. Bar Criminal Law Section, Attention Tara Smith, P.O. Box 608, Columbia, SC 29202 or fax it to (803) 799-4118.
