ADR SECTION COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
Thursday, January 26, 2007, at 5:30 p.m.
South Carolina Bar Convention
The Council met by conference call at the date, time and place reflected above.
Members Present (6):
Jack Griffeth, Chair
Frances Duarte
Michael Glenn
Harry Goldberg
Becky Laffitte
Terry B. Millar
Members Absent (5):
Robert Hassold Jr.
William L. Howard
Susan S. Quinn
James Spence
Walter B. Todd Jr.
A meeting was held at the Charleston Bar Convention on the date and at the time stated above.
The Council received a report from Mr. Glenn regarding the ADR Commission. He reported that the Commission was to submit its written proposal regarding Rule 43(k) to the ADR Council as well as to other Sections of the Bar for comment. Mr. Glenn also reported that it was unlikely that any action could be taken during that legislative session and that comment from other Bar Sections was believed needed by the Commission. As a result, no action was taken on any Commission proposal. It was decided to address the matter at the next meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
