Easy shortcuts for Microsoft Word© or Corel WordPerfect©
Do you hate typing a particularly long word or phrase over and over in a document? Make typing easier by setting up QuickWords in WordPerfect© or AutoCorrect in Word©. Once you have entered your QuickWords or AutoCorrect, all you have to do is type an abbreviation of your choice and the entire word or phrase appears. Here's how:

WordPerfect© Users:
Type the phrase or word you want to save and highlight it (don't select any space after the word or you will have issues with adding punctuation later)
Go to Tools - QuickWords and choose the QuickWords tab
Type a short, unique abbreviation for the word or phrase
Choose Add Entry
Now when you type the abbreviation plus a space, tab or enter, QuickWords will expand the abbreviation into text automatically.

Word Users:
Go to Tools - AutoCorrect and choose the AutoCorrect tab
Type your abbreviation in the field labeled "Replace." The abbreviation is case-sensitive
Type your word or phrase in the field labeled "With"
Click the "Replace" button and "OK"
When you type the abbreviation in a document exactly as you saved it, it will automatically expand.
