Tip for Microsoft Word users
Does it bug you when Word tries to autocorrect a word you just typed? For example, when you are typing a word in lower case, but Word tries to capitalize it. If you press Ctrl-Z or Backspace (in Windows) or Command-Z (on the Mac) immediately after Word auto-does anything, Word restores what you typed. You may have to press it more than once. Word also offers on-off checkboxes for all of these features (open the Tools menu and choose AutoCorrect).
