Tax tip: Before you purchase new technology, consider leasing. Payments on a true lease may be tax deductible as an expense. Computer use policy: Personal-use policies can help protect law firms from liability problems as well as the problems of lost productivity and wasted resources. Explain to all employees the appropriate use of firm computers both inside and outside the office.
