About the Seminar
It is a difficult time to be a trustee.  Asset values in the public and private markets have fallen substantially and the outlook for their recovery is unclear.  There have been major revelations of fraud and abuse among prominent money managers.  The economy continues to be unsettled and fiduciary litigation continues to grow.  These developments place heightened emphasis on advising trustees about their fiduciary duties and areas of potential liability. This program will provide you with a practical guide to the duties of trustees in a volatile market, including prudently investing the assets of the trust, proper disclosures, communicating with beneficiaries on a regular basis, making or withholding distributions, and ensuring the purposes of the trust is fulfilled.

·          Practical framework of trustee duties and liability
·          Areas of increased potential for trustee liability
·          Prudent investment decisions in a market of unprecedented volatility
