Some clients are fortunate to come to substantial wealth earlier in time than is the typical experience. The challenges of planning for them are different than planning for older clients. Younger clients have a longer life expectancy, likely have very young children, and possibly more uncertainty about their wealth. This implicates a series of issues for the estate and trust planner. This program will provide you a framework and practical guide for planning for younger clients, including the integration of health care and educational trusts for young children and the integration of custodial documents, trust investments decisions for longer life expectancies, and other issues.
