About the Seminar
A growing number of workers have substantial caregiving responsibilities for elderly and sick family members and others. This can and often does cause disruption of workplace operational tempos and raise novel issues for employers. In response to these growing issues, the EEOC has for the first time issued guidance on the proper treatment of employees providing care to family members and how employers should respond. This program will review the EEOC's new guidance on caregiving, how the guidance may alter current law, and best practices for implementing policies to protect the rights of employees providing caregiving services to others.
