About the Seminar
The South Carolina Bar-CLE Division is pleased to once again offer the Real Estate Intensive Workshop. This exciting two-day program led by USC School of Law Professor Alan Medlin and Columbia attorney Dave Whitener, is an advanced level, hands-on workshop designed to facilitate active participation from every participant.  A variety of issues will be covered including foreclosures, HUD, Fanny Mae, Freddie Mac, RESPA, tax issues in real estate and real estate ethics updates.

 

You will also have time on Friday afternoon to fellowship and enjoy Kiawah Island Resort and all it has to offer, including golf, tennis, and Kiawah’s beautiful beaches.  Friday night will feature a reception and dinner for you and your family.  The program will conclude on Saturday afternoon.

East beach 1 bedroom scenic view villas are $258.40/night and west beach 1 bedroom scenic view villas are $228/night plus 11.5% tax and 8% service fee. Reservations must be made by June 8, 2010 to guarantee availability. Reservations received after this date will be filled only on a space-and-rate available basis. 

FRIDAY NIGHT EVENTS
Please join us Friday night at Osprey Point Clubhouse for fellowship and a good southern buffet! Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Indicate on your registration whether or not you plan to attend. You and one guest are complimentary; there is a $40 fee for additional guests.

The children’s program will be from 6-8 p.m. at Osprey Point Clubhouse. This program is for children 3 to 11 years.  Fun games, activities and a snack will be provided.  Your child may not be accommodated if you do not pre-register!  The hotel provides ratio of staff to children based upon guarantee. Kiawah does not accept children in diapers or training pants. Complete the appropriate information on the registration form.

Mandatory MCLE Credit Hours and Legal Ethics & Professional Responsibility (LEPR) Credit Hours
This seminar qualifies for 8.0 MCLE credit hours, including up to 2.0 LEPR credit hours.
