Educating lawyers in the art of trial advocacy is a primary goal of the Foundation of the American Board of Trial Advocates. The South Carolina Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates is proud to present an outstanding new program, Masters in Opening Statements and Closing Arguments. The purpose of this seminar is to provide lawyers with insights from the bench and from accomplished practitioners into the art of opening and closing. There will be real-time demonstrations by plaintiff and defense attorneys of effective and convincing opening statements and closing arguments. In addition, a jury consultant will discuss how juries are affected by various aspects of opening and closing.
