About the Seminar
The “South Carolina Tort Law Update” seminar is an institutional favorite of attorneys who practice personal injury and tort law. Professors F. Patrick Hubbard and Robert L. Felix have selected a faculty of experienced and distinguished presenters who will provide useful guidance on recent developments, with a focus on the kind of practical application that will help you win your next case.

This year’s program features discussions on the rights and responsibilities of control and “proptorts,” home purchasers, taxing structured settlements, an update on the tort claims act, and on preparing a dramshop case. There will also be a view from the bench by Justice Costa Pleicones, and an important hour of legal ethics by Professor Greg Adams.  As always, we will conclude the day with Professor Robert Felix’s annual case law and statutory “review and preview”.  And as always, each registrant will receive a copy of the 2009 SC Tort Law Cumulative Supplement as well as the course materials. This is a seminar you cannot afford to miss; so register today to get the best tort law teaching and resources available in South Carolina !
