About the Seminar This special seminar, which introduces the third edition of The Scrivener, will provide advanced legal writing instruction in a hands-on workshop environment. Experienced faculty will cover the fundamentals of writing such as editing, organization, citation, and ethics. Then, attendees will learn how to apply those principles to work in their practice. Attendees are asked to submit (in advance) a brief, motion, or other piece of writing so that the faculty can address specific examples of effective writing and make suggestions for improvement (without revealing the authors’ names).
