About the Seminar
The South Carolina Bar-CLE Division is pleased to announce our 17th Annual Probate Bench Bar Seminar.  Cherokee County Probate Judge Joshua Queen has put together an outstanding program and has chosen a truly exceptional faculty to bring you a seminar that will provide practical, up-to-date, and scholarly instruction on the hottest topics in Probate Court for 2009.

This year’s seminar focuses on issues of immediate concern for both judges and lawyers, including contempt of court, cremation disputes, the impact on probate of consumer scams that target the elderly and judicial ethics.  In addition, this year’s program features what promises to be a lively analysis and discussion by a panel of judges and county finance directors on the law of supply and demand economics of probate court, and of course we will have Professor Alan Medlin’s annual case law and legislative update.

As always, this special CLE program is mandatory for South Carolina ’s Probate Judges, so if you are an attorney who practices in the Probate Courts, be sure that you don’t miss this unique learning and networking opportunity!
