About the Seminar
The South Carolina Bar CLE Division is proud to present the 2008 Children's Issues in Family Court Seminar. Lisa Emery and Vance Stricklin have put together a powerful program with experienced and talented faculty who will providein-depth guidance and insightful analysis on mediation in custody cases, disclosures, drug testing, immigration issues for children in Family Court, alienation of affection and its impact on custody, custody and visitation schedules, techniques for interviewing a child, the new UCCJEA, ethical pitfalls of representing children and important witnesses for a custody case.

This program will not only provide valuable information for your practice as it relates to children's issues, but will also comply with the annual six hours of continuing education required for attorney and lay Guardians ad Litem as set forth in the South Carolina Private Guardian ad Litem Reform Act of 2003.

(Please note this CLE is not for purposes of GAL training, but will satisfy the annual requirement for GAL recertification). This program will also offer at least .5 hours of ethics credit.
